Technical Sales

The ideal candidate would possess a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Accounting, or related studies. Experience in a Sales department setting working with a technical product would be beneficial. Will consider recent graduates who are ready to learn. Duties will include quote preparation, customer service, review of RFQ materials including drawings and specifications, project management through manufacture of critical projects, quote follow-up, trade shows, customer visits, and more. Accounting Assistant (Part-Time)

PH Tool is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to aid in day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties (invoicing customers, vendor invoice entry, delinquent account follow-up, etc.). The ideal candidate would have experience in the aforementioned AP/AR duties (utilizing Quickbooks), maintain effective customer service and communication skills, and be efficient in their time management skills. Part-time positions do not include benefits, and the hours are Monday-Friday, 4 hours per day (specific hours can be adjusted to individual needs). Stockroom Attendant (Part-Time)

Must possess exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience with Microsoft Office (Corel Draw is a plus). Tending to the stockroom includes order fulfillment, tracking of inventory, preparation of certification reports, laser engraving product information, and laser cutting storage case foam for custom orders. Machine Shop Intern

Facilities Manager

PH Tool is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team.  The right candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of activities, related but not limited to the custodial, maintenance and mechanical aspects of general facilities management.  Job duties include the maintenance, cleanliness and general upkeep of the entire industrial campus (45,000 square foot building, inside and outside).  This includes the waxing/buffing of polished concrete shop floors, cleaning of lunchroom and bathrooms, sanitizing of common areas, stocking of custodial supplies, and more.  Less time-consuming tasks include regular vacuuming of office area floors, caring for garden beds (no lawnmowing required), emptying of trashcans, and other similar duties.  This person will also be responsible for the management of various subcontractor relationships related to the maintenance of the building.  This position is full time, Monday through Friday, ideal hours are 12;30 PM to 9:00 PM.  Excellent package including health insurance, vacation, and 401K plan with profit sharing.  Send resume with salary expectations to jobs@phtool.com. 

QA Specialist

PH Tool is seeking a skilled Quality professional to assist with the successful implementation of ISO 17025.  Experience with quality systems, vendor audits, corrective action, procedure writing, and working with registrars would be most applicable. Real-world experience working with both ISO 17025 and ISO 9001, and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt skills would be beneficial. This position could be either full or part-time depending on the candidate and the timing.  The goal is to prepare for ISO 17025, navigate the successful implementation, and oversee ongoing QA activities going forward. Quality Control/Materials Coordinator

This unique position combines several important responsibilities at PH Tool into one new position. This person will be responsible for the following:

• Ordering of raw material
• Vendor selection and negotiation
• Incoming material inspection and organization
• Maintenance and organization of Material Test Report (MTR) pdfs on server
• Positive Material Identification (PMI) using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology
• Pres-scanning of raw material via ultrasonic testing (immersion and contact methods)
• Raw material layout and sawing of blanks for the CNC milling and EDM departments
• QC inspection of finished product using variety of measurement tools (micrometers, video inspection systems, indicators, height gages, CMMs, and more)

Ideal candidate has some exposure to and interest in manufacturing/machining including use of measurement tools. Must be super-organized and self-starting. Position has lots of autonomy and you will need to prioritize daily. Variety of tasks will keep this person involved in many areas and will be a tremendous help to the machinists and toolmakers in the shop. We will train the right candidate on use of the specialized equipment needed to perform this job.
